Huge successes at the Geneva JuRin have prompted owner-partners Hideo Sudo and Haruhisa Osada to welcome Hasegawa Gen as a partner and to open a second venue a few miles to the north at Silver Glen Crossing, a new shopping mall on Randall Road in South Elgin.  There are a few changes at the new location, the major differences being size and a more up-scale feel.  The new JuRin boasts eight large teppan grilling tables where expert chefs still dazzle their diners with flaming delights that only serve to put the exclamation point on mouth-watering meals prepared before your eyes.

At the sushi bar, Mr. Osada performs sushi magic, placing his finished masterpieces on the conveyor inside a giant rectangular Plexiglas chilling tube that surrounds him.  Simply lift one of the numerous handles and retrieve your favorite sushi and sashimi morsels.  Mr. Gen has top honors at the teppan grilling tables, expertly wielding his knives and spatulas, bringing smiles to all who are seated at his tables for dinner.
